| 本研究の参加にあたり十分な説明を受けた後、十分な理解の上、自由意思による研究参加の同意を本人から文書で取得可能な患者、同意取得時の年齢が65歳以上の者、岡山大学病院歯科・予防歯科部門の外来患者全てで介入前時点の歯磨き回数が1日1～2回の者 | Patients who are able to obtain written consent to participate in this research of their own free will after receiving a full explanation of the study and with sufficient understanding,age 65 or older at the time consent is obtained,all outpatients in the Department of Dentistry and Preventive Dentistry at Okayama University Hospital who brush their teeth once or twice a day at the pre-intervention time point | ||
| 疾患による手に麻痺といった障害のある者、質問票への回答が不完全な者、認知機能の著しい低下のある者、栄養士からの定期的な指導をうけていない、今後も予定されていない者、あきらかな肝機能障害や糖尿病がない者、その他、研究責任者、研究分担者が研究対象者として不適当と判断した患者 |

| ナッジ理論を利用した介入（EAST；Easy・Attractive・Social・Timelyのフレームワーク） モニター画像、冊子を利用して、ナッジ理論を活用した情報提供を実施する。 モニター画像は、外来のチェアに付属しているモニターを用いて、冊子の内容をスライドショーとして流す。 ・Easy:モニターと冊子の内容を簡単にまとめて情報量を少なくして読みやすくする ・Attractive:モニターと冊子の文字の大きさや色合いを強調して目に付きやすくする。歯科保健行動の優劣で歯周状態が変わることを明確にするために、良好な歯周状態の写真と重度歯周病の比較の写真の掲載する ・Social:「歯周状態の良い人はみんな口腔保健行動の良い」というメッセージを強調する。 ・Timely：診察終了後に冊子を読むようにしてもらい、会計の待ち時間や交通機関での移動時間に確認してもらう。家での歯ブラシ時に確認してもらう ＊口腔保健行動（モニターや冊子に記載予定のものや実際に行うこと） 「1日の歯磨きの頻度について」：歯ブラシを1日に3回に磨くことによる歯周病への有効性 「歯の磨き方について」：歯ブラシの使用方法や1歯あたりの磨く回数など 「歯間部の清掃について」：適切な歯間ブラシの方法 対照群はナッジ理論を利用した介入は行わず、術者による口腔清掃指導 （TBI）のみを行う。 |
Intervention using nudge theory (EAST; Easy, Attractive, Social, Timely framework) Monitor images and booklets will be used to provide information utilizing nudge theory. The monitor images will be shown as a slide show of the booklet contents using the monitor attached to the outpatient chair. Easy: The monitor and the contents of the booklet are briefly summarized to reduce the amount of information and make it easier to read. Attractive: The size and color of the text on the monitor and in the booklet are emphasized to make it more eye-catching. Social: Emphasize the message that "all people with good periodontal health have good oral health behaviors. Timely: Have them read the booklet after the consultation and check it while waiting for the bill or during transportation. Have them check it when they brush their teeth at home. *Oral health behavior (what will be described in the monitor and booklet and what they actually do) About the frequency of daily tooth brushing": Effectiveness against periodontal disease of brushing the toothbrush three times a day. How to brush your teeth": how to use a toothbrush and how many times to brush per tooth. Interdental cleaning: Appropriate interdental brushing methods The control group did not receive any intervention using the nudge theory, but only TBI by the surgeon. |
