Five children between the ages of 8 and 10 who have been diagnosed with ADHD or who have problematic behavior due to hyperactivity or inattention at home or school, and whose parents and subjects have agreed to participate in the study.
First, an online interview with child and mother was conducted for the screening test, and the subjects were asked to complete a survey form sent by mail. Based on the survey results, subjects were selected without intellectual disabilities or other medical conditions. Then, mothers were asked to watch the videos on the brain structure, basic introduction of NFT, how to attach electrodes on the head, and how to perform NFT using the EEGer software. They asked to measure brain waves of three locations on the head for the first time. Then protocol was decided based on the measurement was determined. Then, the mothers were asked to perform 20 20-minute NFT sessions on their child once or twice a week at a convenient time and date, and to send the data each time via the Internet. At the final session, they were asked to perform the same test and measurements of three sites on the head as the first session. All the data from the first and final sessions and survey results were compared to verify the changes.

There were no cases of illness or other diseases due to this study.
Minimap taking the brain waves at three sites, Fz, Cz, and Pz, according to international 10-20 method, with eye open and eye closed, the change in Monastral ratio for each NFT, and the results of Conners3 by the child and his/her parents were examined. That of only one child showed a large improvement in Monastral ratio, but others did not. For the comparison of before and after of Conners 3, all of them showed some improvement.
Parents administered 20 home NFTs to ADHD children from 5 to 8 years old, but only 1 of the 5 subjects showed significant improvement in Monastral ratios. The rest them showed a little improvement. The Conners 3 survey results and parents reports indicated that the problematic behaviors had reduced and showed improvement. But no statistical differences were shown. The results of the research accorded those of the previous studies, that was NFT at home were not as effective as those done by the therapist.
8 to 10 year old who has been diagnosed with ADHD at the start of the study, or is troubled by problem behaviors at home or at school due to a lack of attention or behavior control. At the same time, parents should have a PC at home and be able to interact with researchers online, send data, and conduct training for their children twice a week.
The participant who has prescribed medication for ADHD, or diagnosed leaky intestinal syndrome, epilepsy or brain injury, intellectual and developmental disabilities, self-harm, etc.
After screening the subjects, parents of the target children will be asked to learn about balanced dietary, behavioral modification techniques for ADHD problem behavior, and neurofeedback training (NFT) procedures by Internet with researchers. In addition, they are asked to send the data of their child's brain waves of three sites of the midline of the brain. Based on the results of the data analysis, the researcher determines the training protocol, and following the protocol, parents start a 20-minute NFT at home, twice a week for 10 weeks. After each session, the parents are asked to send the data by e-mail. After the training, the researchers verify the effects of NFT before and after the intervention.
